*** HELP! My TV Turns off Randomly…What is wrong ***?
I don’t expect an exact diagnosis, but just wondering if someone has insight or if anyone has had this problem before. Basically, I’ll be watching my Television and it will shut off (but the red power light flashes on and off, which made me think ti wa sgoing into a standby mode or something, but I’m pretty sure thata’s not it) If I attempt to press the power button it will not turn back on. The ligth just keeps flashing. So the only way to correct this for me seems to be unplugginh the cord and plugging it back in over and over every time it shuts off.
Sometimes it happens with 2 minutes of plugging it back in each time, but sometimes it works for quite a few hours before it shuts off again. If it helps, it’s a about a 42″ (not newer) Toshiba Television

this used to happen to my flat screen, I forget how it got fixed but its not something to worry about
