Does it bother anybody that a movie or television series set in the U.S. is actually filmed in Canada?
One major example being the show FOX show “Pasadena,” filmed in Vancouver (which pissed me off, as I am from Pasadena) and not California, like I hoped. Saving money is obviously the main reason, but come on.
I don’t know, X-Files was shot mainly in Canada and that doesn’t bother me. Sure, you would like things to be authentic and shot on location but I’d rather have a very well put together show and a quality story. I have nothing against a little artistic license when it comes to locations.
