COLLEGE: Playing days with the TCU Horned Frogs came to an abrupt end in 2003 when he tore ligaments in his right knee early in a game with Navy in week two. The previous game, he had earned the Conference USA player of the week award following a 206 total yard (115 rushing, 91 receiving, including an 80-yard TD) in TCU's season-opening 38-35 win at Tulane. Played in Liberty Bowl.

The Kimball HS product carried the ball 377 times in his career for 1,546 yards, including a career-high 719 yards as a junior, when he averaged 4.6 yards per carry. Two of his five 100-yard rushing games came against Louisville, including a career-best 156 yard day his sophomore year
