FRISCO, Tex. (March 29, 2008) – Five weeks into the season, Jeff White is the only Frisco Thunder offensive lineman to start every game. He’s not complaining. He and his new teammates didn’t give up a sack in Saturday’s 66-55 victory over Fairbanks.

White, a two-year Thunder veteran, has been joined by Paul Carrizal and Octus Polk the past two weeks.

“I think we’ve connected really well. These guys are excellent players; it’s a lot of fun to have these guys on the team, to see them out there, and for me to be able to play with [them],” said White.

He was pleased how the team rebounded from last week’s to CenTex.

“We just went back to drawing board and just hit it hard, and basically just stepped it up; made sure that we did what we had to do,” said White.

With White leading the protection, quarterback Wes Cooper threw seven touchdown passes against an upstart Fairbanks team.

“We’ve got a lot of talent; they’ve got a lot of talent. They gave us a good run this week,” White said of Fairbanks.
